DESCRIPTION

The Hanayashiki Golf Club Hirono Course is located in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, 9 km from Kobe Sanda IC of the Chugoku Expressway. It was Opened in 1973 as the second course following the Yokawa Course. Robert Murashima is appointed as the course designer, and the course is placed on the hilly area of Miki City.

The OUT course has no OB other than around the course and the pond. Further more, there is little difference in elevation. The fairway is also wide, but the green is guarded by ponds and bunkers, so you should keep your guard up. There are many ponds in the OUT course (4th, 5th, 6th and 8th hole). The 5th par-4 hole is difficult because it is dogleg to the right and HDC 1. It is little uphill and you had better aim the left side of the bunker at the teeing shot. The 10th hole is par-5 downhill hole. The aim point is the left side of the right front pine tree. But if you are a long hitter, it is possible to get on the green in two shot by aiming over the right bunker. The 15th hole is relatively short par-4 hole. The aim point is quite narrow because there are bunkers placed on the right side and the left side of the fairway. So it is required the accurately controlled shot. Since it becomes uphill from the second shot, it is important to select the club depending on the situation. The 18th hole is the longest per-5 hole of this course. Both of distance and accuracy are important.
